Siemens Shunt Release – 5ST3031 (24…48 V DC)
The Siemens 5ST3031 is a SENTRON 5ST3 series shunt
release (shunt trip coil) designed for remote tripping of Siemens
miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) such as 5SL5, 5SL7, 5SY, 5SP4, 5SV,
5SU1, and 5SM2 series. It enables electrical switching OFF of the
breaker from a remote signal, improving safety and automation in modern
distribution systems.
This device is widely used in industrial control panels,
emergency shutdown systems, fire alarm integration, BMS/SCADA systems, and automated
electrical distribution boards, where remote disconnection is required for
protection or safety interlocking.
