The Siemens 3VJ9417-0ST36 is a shunt trip (ST)
coil accessory designed for the SINOVA 3VJ13 / 3VJ14 MCCB series (400 A
/ 630 A frame). It is used to provide remote tripping of the circuit
breaker, allowing the MCCB to be switched OFF automatically through an
external electrical signal.
This accessory is mainly used in emergency shutdown
systems, fire protection systems, interlocking circuits, and PLC-based control
systems, where remote disconnection of power is required for safety or
automation purposes. When the shunt trip coil is energized (typically 220 V
AC), it instantaneously trips the MCCB, disconnecting the load from
the power supply.
The 3VJ9417-0ST36 is widely used in LT
panels, MCCs, PCCs, industrial automation systems, and OEM switchboards,
where remote control and safety interlocking are essential.
