The Siemens 3UF7013-1AU00-0 is a SIMOCODE pro V EIP
(EtherNet/IP) basic unit from the SIRIUS 3UF7 motor management system,
designed for intelligent motor control, protection, monitoring, and
diagnostics in modern low-voltage automation systems.
This device acts as a smart motor controller, replacing
conventional hard-wired control circuits and providing integrated protection,
communication, and real-time operational data. It supports EtherNet/IP
communication with DLR (Device Level Ring) redundancy, making it suitable
for high-availability industrial networks and Industry 4.0 applications.
The unit operates on 110–240 V AC/DC supply and includes 4
digital inputs and 3 freely configurable monostable relay outputs, along
with a PTC thermistor input for direct motor temperature protection. It
also offers built-in web server functionality, diagnostics, and
expandability through SIMOCODE modules, enabling flexible motor control
configurations.
The SIMOCODE pro V EIP is widely used for DOL starters,
reversing starters, and MCC feeder applications, ensuring optimized motor
protection, reduced wiring complexity, and improved system transparency.
